2515 6th Avenue South Birmingham, Alabama

Located in Birmingham’s Lakeview District, Haven is a beautifully restored 1924 building which originally housed the Mack Truck Company. Various industrial and automotive operations occupied the space for the next 90 years. In 2014, the current owners began the process of historically renovating the building to its original beauty with modern elegance and numerous edgy, contemporary details.

Friday July 21, 2023 5pm-9pm

The Goal:

Yellowhammer Creative and Left Hand Soap Co. are proud to host this seasonal night market at Haven. The goal of this event is to showcase what Birmingham and the surrounding region has to offer through art, music and top notch vendors. We welcome all artists, makers, vintage sellers and entrepreneurs to showcase their talents. The market will also feature live music and entertainment from a variety of bands, djs, street performers and more. 

Admission to Vend:

Admission for vendors is currently offered on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited so sign up before it’s too late.

Booth Setup:

All vendors will be provided a booth space on concrete large enough to accommodate a standard 10’ x 10’ canopy tent. 

Booth Fee = $75

*The last day to cancel and receive a refund is Friday November 12. Vendors that fail to notify the market team and do not show up for the event will forfeit their booth fee and not be allowed to vend at future markets.

Vendors are responsible for supplying all of their own fixtures including:

• 10’ x 10’ canopy tent (Optional)

• Display Fixtures (tables, signs, chairs, etc.)

• 25’ ft extension cord (power will be provided via on site electrical boxes)

• Event Timeline:

The Night Market will take place on roughly the third Friday of the month with some exceptions. All vendors must load-in at the appropriate time or they will not be allowed to vend and will forfeit their booth fee. Once the event is over vendors are responsible for clearing all fixtures and booth materials from the site. 

Load In - 2pm - 4pm

Booth Setup - 4pm - 5pm

Event - 5pm - 9pm

Load Out - 9pm -10pm

Sales Tax:

The Night Market at Haven will not collect sales taxes or a percentage of sales during the event. It is the sole responsibility of all vendors to report sales taxes accordingly with the Alabama Department of Revenue. Neither Yellowhammer Creative, Left Hand Soap Company or other partners are held liable for any sales generated by vendor booths. 

Marketing:

Like any modern event, social media marketing will play a big role in generating turnout and engagement with our community. We have engaged numerous media partners to help promote The Night Market at Haven and will be promoting heavily on social media channels and email marketing. Marketing materials will be provided to all market vendors and we strongly encourage you to share your involvement with your audience. Cross promotions on social media are very powerful and will lead to a well attended event.

The Night Market at Haven aims to showcase original work, vintage finds and the products of exhibiting vendors, not the work of mass production studios, organizations or groups. 

Yellowhammer Creative, Left Hand Soap Company, and it’s partners are not held liable for any damage, injury or theft for the duration of the event incurred by vendors or patrons. All vendors are guests of The Night Market and it’s partners who reserve the right to ask any vendor or patron to vacate the premises if they are in violation of this invitation and displaying inappropriate behavior. All vendors must sign a whole harmless agreement before they are allowed to vend at the event.
