Goldenrod Dyed Scarf Workshop October 15th
Goldenrod Dyed Scarf Workshop October 15th
Discover the art of dyeing with the vibrant hues of a stunning native plant which signals the coming of fall: goldenrod. Her brilliant yellow blooms offer a unique and sustainable source of natural dyestuff that can range from soft and rich yellows to deep, golden greens.
Dani Dyar Parmar of Wild Violet Gardens will lead us in extracting color from the plant, preparing our fibers, color shifting, and creating patterns with submersion dyeing techniques to create one-of-a-kind all natural cotton scarves that are perfect for the season.
At the end of each class, you'll leave with more than just newfound skills – you'll carry with you a tangible piece of art that you made yourself. Share with your friends, and keep an eye out for more skill building workshops in the future.
Reserve your spot today! The workshop is on Sunday, October 15th from 2PM-4PM. All supplies provided by the instructor and included in the fee. Workshops are located at our production offices - 3917 2nd Ave. S.
